Miroslava earned a Master in Architecture from School of Architecture of Slovak University of Technology. It wasn’t until moving to Nantucket in 2002, that she discovered her passion for Landscape Architecture and the creation of outdoor spaces which uniquely combine the experience of the outside with that of the inside. Her inspiration derives from the power of composition and spatial balance, an artistic use of elements and landform, that not only brings peace, but elevates the senses as well. Her design philosophy roots itself in the balance of nature, the balance of life, and the movement between the two. She, along with her son, compliment their island life not only with adventures in cities and discoveries made abroad, but also with time spent in the mountains of New England, an area that reminds her of home.
